Swarovski's New Scopes

Swarovski Optics Austria announces new line of their spotting scopes.

It is modular, it has zoom functions and the new model, the 95mm is what we call, re-inventing the telescopes! With its world's famous High Definition glasses, it would be exciting to read its review when it launches in England on the 17th. August, 2012.

Rest In Peace Sabrina

Sabrina Yeap, the founder of Furry Friends Farm in Kundang has passed away today.
She spent most of her life saving stray dogs and cats and made the headlines when the Pulau Ketam fiasco came about. The authorities gave Sabrina and her rescue team difficult moments when the news broke out that close to 400 rounded-up dogs were 'thrown' away into a tidal swamp where all of them died a slow & horrible death. I was part of the rescue team and witnessed the horror.
Sabrina, the Lord knows of your kind deeds and love for animals. May you Rest In Peace. You have been an angel for all those strays who have suffered and it was you who showered them with love and kindness.

Ok, we are all pissed off about a Minister saying this, and another MP doing that. This cannot and that cannot.

Did they care? I was shockingly amazed that many did not care to vote.
Their stupid reasons were:-

i) No time to vote
ii) Not interested in politics
iii) No difference as my one vote don't count.
iv) Don't like the candidate of the area.
v) Not bothered

Not bothered? Let me tell you friend, you may have kids (or going to have kids) and their life is going to SUX big time. You, their parent may have already condemned their lives to hell and they may end up being maids, dvd sellers, mandarin orange sellers, washing hairs, selling dried pork meat, bouncers for ah longs....

Fancy Me?

A new foodie joint has open in Klang today.
It is called Fancy Mee, a Pan Mee outlet located in Setia Alam. Although Klang is famous for its Mee Hun Ker (Meen Fun Koh), we are so familiar with the soup version (original) a variety from Jalan Batu, (KL) Kuala Lumpur, is the dry, version and have been available in Kota Damansara and PJ.

We also like the dry version which is a welcome choice when you like dry chillis to 'oomph' up your afternoon.
Fancy Mee is opened from 11am till 8pm daily and closes on Monday.

Whoopie! Got my book ordered directly from Amazon . com.
Understanding my GH2 now, got better. As all of us know how great this camera is, this book gave clearer explaination on its features which some was never known to exists!!! No thanks to Panasonic's original Instruction Manual which is in dull black and white, monotonous explainations , cheap printing....small sized fonts....
This 271 paged book is in full color, is a must-have for all GH2 owners. I strongly suggest to Panasonic that they give this book away free of charge (replace the manual) so that people would love their camera more deeply.

Go get this book (USD 29.95) by Brian Matsumoto and Carol F. Roullard  ISBN: 978-1-933952-89-5. It is worth every sen of it. I am not sure if it is available at the local book stores here in Malaysia yet.

Today is a good day.

Very good indeed.

We got to do the things we have always wanted to do.

We got rid of Streamyx.

We also got rid of Astro.

Both combined cost us RM 299.00 per month. We now only pay half that amount but surf the net and watch stream TV at 18 times the speed. My upload to youtube (HD) is 20 times faster!!

Ok, maybe Assthrow have more HD contents but so what? On repeats, repeats and repeats?

The new TV show called "Smash" which is a talk about would not be shown here in HD. It would be on Diva which is not on HD. I am still puzzled as to why are we not getting new shows on HD when 99.999% sales of new flat panel TVs are all in HD?

Must we pay extra for HD?

Aren't everyone is entitled to get it in HD?

You have been using a brand of mechanical pencil almost all your life and have been using it with ease and confidence especially in Motor treasure hunts, camping, research nature trekking to record findings, playing the crossword puzzle and speed checking while playing Soduku.

With a replaceable eraser at the other end, these pencils are sure quick and handy.

We have close to 40 pieces in 3 households by now.

Honestly, it is indeed frustrating trying to buy the refills yearly!

The bad news came today, after we wrote to Faber-Castell. They have confirmed discontinuing to make and sell this refill erasers.

But then, what are we going to do with our pencils? Do we have to buy 40 separate pieces of standalone erasers either to be fastened with a piece of cellophane tape or use a raffia string?

Sad indeed, especially from the brand we trusted for so long and for its superb quality.

The Malaysian Raptor Watch would be held on the 10th. March, 2012 in Tanjung Tuan, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.

This morning, cruising around Kuala Selangor from Klang, I made many video shots and noticed 'extras' especially the bigger and heavier ones. Of course, the usual Brahminy Kites, Crested Serpent Eagles, a resident White-bellied Sea-Eagle and the Black-shouldered Kite are still there but these new comers are quite difficult to be identified.
