Truly a great Bin

Swarovski EL 10x42 Swarovision

It is already three months old and we are really enjoying this pair of binoculars who have lived up to its claim "See the unseen"!
We have already covered more than half of our lists of birds. We even have more time to look at individual birds to study the its colors right up to the finest details.
Have never seen a Silver Eared Messia that clear. Also spotted the truly beautiful Red Headed Trogon who gave us three minutes of examination!

As for the Black Throated Sunbird, wow, truly exhilarating! Of course, we cannot leave out our ever popular "Phua Chu Kang" bird. Ha!Ha! This Streaked Spiderhunter's bright yellow feet looks just like his boots!

(Note: The following are not my pictures. They are from Google Images.)

Truly no regrets of owning this great pair of binoculars!

No not in Malaysia. Till now, these bins are not available here unless, of course, out dated and old models can be 'ordered' by some.
Costs? Ha!Ha!Ha!

Cheers.

Hi
I know they're very pricey but you get what you pay for! The prices are around USD 2500-2700 ?. So how did you purchase them- online order or personal import. I'd like to know so I can join the Swarovski club ;)

Hi madbirder,
Thanks again for dropping by. Yup they are about RM2,700 each. After waiting for 2 months for stocks availability, we flew up to Hongkong to buy them. As for online purchases, the freight and handling is more expensive than paying our Macha's Air Asia return fare and a one night stay including transport and meals!
They are still short of stocks mainly due to the growing market in China.
Before this, I was quoted by an 'importer' here in KL at RM 11,000.00 each !!!!!!!!Wah!
As a Swarovski Club member, they just announced a newer model 12x50EL Swarovision last week. Could be a tad heavier but higher mag.

Hope that help.
You can PM me for further info.
Thanks again and Regards
Don
