Want To Buy?

Ball Point Pens?

As if our dear country is running out of ball point pens.

For the last 10 months, there is this foreign-looking-lady knocking at car windows asking for cash and is now selling ball point pens. What have happened to our dear country? Why is this allowed?
Are the authorities sleeping as usual? Close one eye?

These photos were taken in December last year.

I suspect that this elderly female beggar is from a third world country. She does not look local and is begging right in front of us everyday and a highway junction is no exception. Bigger traffic jam means more customers. This is begining to look like Ethiopia!

Kesian Malaysia. Sudah jatuh standard and by the way, just look at the rubbish on the road. This is a 'toll-ed' Highway dammnit!
Want to see her? Just go to the (tolled) Lebuh Raya Selat Klang highway junction (route 20) connecting Jalan Meru (route B1) in Klang. The GPS co-ordinance is at: 3degrees 04' 21.75" N and 101degrees 26' 59.28" E

We saw her at it again yesterday at 2.55pm. Business must be that good.
What is the Immigration Department doing? Easily by now, thousands of vehicles would have seen her.
When will they act? Until she gets settled down and with a dozen of kids joining her to sell ball point pens..... izzit?

Malu Malaysia.

Call Of Duty

Black Ops

After playing it for the last three days, no wonder it is the Best Selling Franchise of All Time on PS3!
After Call of Duty and Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 this Black Ops is part 3 and is one of the most realistic computer game ever.
The best part is the optional (just select it) Pure HD 1080p video and Dolby Digital 7.1 Audio!
The official Worldwide launch was only days ago and in some parts, it is still being launch with parties. See the report here.

If this is your cup of tea, go for it. I like its reality. Great graphics and sound. On top of it, great computing animation comparable to that of big Hollywood blockbusters.

Malaysian Drivers

FCUK Da Lights!
This is an old Video Clip shot with my old video camera but I believe, traffic laws, however old must be adhered to , now and in the future. Just watch the vehicle in front of us and also da bikers!
Rules were broken here but where are da cops?
1) Beating the traffic lights.
2) Illegal U-Turn.
3) crossing a double white line.

This happened along Jalan Haji Sirat, Klang Utara on the 11th. September, 2007.

It looks like many Malaysian drivers also Fcuk da Traffic Laws and da Polis!!!!!
What proof do anyone need anymore?

Part 2-Slide show-Malaysian Orchid Species

Orchidaceae Malaysiana

The part 2 of our slide show is now up on Youtube.

This is the second of our 20 in total. I have reduced it to 3 minutes instead of five per part. No thanks to the darn (TakMalu) TMNut's Stimix 'narrowband' ultra-slow speed that many of you gave up while waiting for it to stream completly.

Pay for 1Mbps but get only 37.2Kbps!!!!

One also mentioned that the Stimix speed is so slow that 'he can see two snails fcuking'!!! Ha!Ha!
Malaysia Boleh!

The funny thing is that this is my very 'OWN' HD video which I gladly wish to share with the world and is educational. This is not pornography per se. No copyright too. So if TakMalu Stimix want to 'throttle' and 'censor' the net, so be it. The world is watching! Malaysia again Boleh!!!
Damn Malu!!!!!

Malaysian Sunbird

Our Resident
Olive-backed Sunbird

One of our babies have grown up to be a wonderful looking girl. She is seen here sipping nectar from our own DIY feeder made from a petri dish, a recycleable cover and a fake flower.

You see, our Sunbirds are related to the Hummingbirds.
It is always our wish to see a real Hummingbird. Would have to go to the US to see one of these. In these two months in the States,....... it's "Hummers Time"!

This is the Rufous Hummingbird (below)

The Magnificient Hummingbird (below)
And the Anna's Hummingbird (below)

Wow! What excellent zingers they are !

Slipper Orchid

Paphiopedilum Shireen

A rare orchid hybrid bloomed in our home in Klang, last month. It had a two flower spike and the flower lasted almost 10 days each. This is a cross done in 1963 between Paphiopedilum glaucophyllum (J.J.Sm.) and Paphiopedilum philippinense (Rchb.f.) Stein. These are also known as 'slipper' orchids mainly due to its 'dutch slipper' looking lip.

Cooked Our Own!

BAKED CRABS

Managed to get the freshest flower Crabs from our coastal town recently and prepared our favourite Baked Crabs ala 'Kemaman'.

We used only the large sized ones and the fresh meat of these 'blue-manna' is unforgetable!

We seriously do not recommend that you buy them from the hypermarts because it looks like they have been 'selected' and 'sorted' out from so many kind/varieties. It also looked like it was obtained from different places. The colour and pattern differs. Our local ones are of the same 'batch' and still have fresh looking eyes! The frozen ones lost all their eyes due to freezing!

That pleasantly reminded us of our fishing trip off Perth, Western Australia in a seaside town of Mandurah. It was the season and after obtaining a license, we caught almost 200 crabs! All alive and kicking! Shot that on Hi-8 Video.

This is how we did ours. Yummy! This is the original "Kemaman" crabs when we were there early last year (below)
Yummy too! But still miss the Kemaman "Hai Peng" coffee!!

Gone This Year.

Brown Wood Owl

Last year in March, we recorded a hooting call of a Brown Wood Owl. It was near impossible to take a photograph.
The call...."....hoo,hoo,hoo.....HOooooo!" is typical of this Asiatic Owl found around our home in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

This year, just last week, a different Owl came. Was trying to shoot a picture of a Spotted Wood Owl (below) but in vain. Only hear his calling with a loud, deep single note "HOOOooo!"
Witnessed a pair flying off this site at 19:35hrs.
This pair, mating perhaps, have been around for a month now.

My short Video clip of the Brown Wood Owl hooting, below.

You Joking or What?

RM300 Million!!!!!!

Just wondering if you agree with me that the new Bus Station in Klang Utara called "Klang Sentral" costs 300 Million Ringgit? You can build a small airport with it.

The Star report here.
http://thestar.com.my/metro/story.asp?file=/2008/12/10/central/2689410&sec=central

I took a drive to see for myself and I am really wondering why it cost so much!

How could a place be called "Central" and is is located 6 Km away? It should be called Klang Utara instead. All da report about congestion, populated, traffic, cost of land...... are so damn lame yet we Klangites have to hold on to our balls and scream!

Anyway, dear fellow Klangites, carry on banging balls till it drops. You asked for it.
Change? Where da fuck is da change?
