FUDD Selayang Council!!

Shit Brains in the Head!

First it was Klang's Council, then now, it is Selayang (again).

Just what kind of leaders have we got in these mini-empires? Laws are Laws.
No two ways about it.

If you do not understand the "Universal Law" then please do not LEAD! Are you a leader just because you 'claim' to be a 'rightful' person such as the color of your skin? Or because of your 'majority'? You do not even understand that there are others around you who do NOT believe in your line of thought. So what gives you the right to do what you believe in and to hurt others?

We humans always and have been claiming to be more superior than animals. Just why are we not showing that we are? Killing, torturing, maiming and hurting animals even though they are 'haram', do not convince us that your belief is very compassionate as it claims to be so.

Our dearest girl, Xiao Mei. (above).

A lovely German Shepherd pup. (below)
Animals (proven many time with scientific facts), have feeling just like humans.

Just what is so dangerous about dogs that others can trust them around this baby?(above)

Starving them of food and water in confinement is unthinkable. Separating her puppies during weaning causes greatest trauma just like a mother losing sight of her week old child. Clubbing to death an old dog is not for the faint hearted. Just why are all of you, sitting up there in high positions, can't fathom the simple task of understanding such sufferings?

Have 50 years since Independance not shown that we have matured and be reasonable? There are definitely many ways of handling problems such as strays. What have happened to these two 'most educated districts' are just inhumane and unkind. We are begining to dispise, en masse, such examples of leadership and would not trust and support these unworthy people anymore.

Did you also know the fact that almost all animals in the animal kingdom are color blind? They do NOT see the colors of our skin. They trust by letting their senses such as sound, smell, aura, feelings, actions and lastly sight (although in black & white) assure them that it is safe to be with us. They do not HATE. They will only defend themselves when trust is betrayed.
Dogs are universally 'man's-best-friend'. Man as in mankind. This evolved millions of years.
Even million of years before religious BELIEFS came about.
Malaysia 'supposedly' maturity is only 50 years old.

You all are just showing such 'pariah' actions which only you can understand. We do not.
The entire World have already been watching us as we kept repeating such idiotic actions. Go to Malaysian Dogs Deserves Better to read and see the current 'war' with the authorities as at last week.

Is this "Malaysia Boleh"?
I, as a Malaysian, is begining to feel like a 'pariah' in the eyes of the World.

HITAM IS DEAD!

RESCUE: Who Killed Hitam?

I was informed that one of our heroes who were involved in the Operations Swamp Dogs rescue have been poisoned to death! This is shocking!
Hitam (Blackie) and Kuning (Yellow) were our mascots and were responsible for helping us in rescuing more than 40 out of hundreds abandoned dogs which was left for dead in Pulau Selat Kering off Pulau Ketam, Port Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.
According to The Star newspaper yesterday, which reported the sad news, this is most outraging because disposing stray dogs here in Malaysia is already (bad) 'news-breaking' and despicable throughout the world. The report is here.

During my involvement with the rescue team, I met Kuning and Hitam who were assisting us in welcoming "GRACE' out of the water. I shot the reunion. This was at the Kelong on 7th. May, 2009. I have now edited a new clip from my High Definition raw footage to be made into an HD video clip for anyone who wants to know Hitam Better. The black marks on his tongue is his identification and with a shiny black coat as well.

My contribution is this memorial video for our beloved Hitam. Please see it.You all can send in your monetary donations generously (if you wish) directly to Sabrina's Furry Friend Farm and/or the SPCA.

IN MEMORIAM of our Hero HITAM, I personally dedicate this video to him for helping to save more than 40 wounded and suffering dogs who are now alive.

Please see the Full HD Video here.
Please ask you friends to see this too.

Thank You everyone for your heart felt concerns ,donations and support. Malaysian dogs do deserve better!

Pets' Showtime!

Two Charities to Help Stray Animals
You'd Not Wanna Miss!

Due to recent incidences in regards to cruelty to animals, some very kind souls have responded by organising events to raise funds and awareness to the public. I am encouraging everyone to attend and show your support for the poor animals. This is only a small step but I am sure you are going to enjoy every minute of it.

1)Operafest's One Bow Wow, One Heart

A charity concert organised by the Operafest Children's choir. Its founder and artistic director
is none other than the Internationally known Kam Sun-Yoke. The theme for tonite's
show is based on one of my favourite Oldies by Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein's
"South Pacific" The movie version was shot on location in Pulau Tioman in Full 70mm.
The funds raised would be for Madam Kang's Animal Sanctuary in Taiping, Perak and the FFF
Furry Friends Farm in Kundang, Selangor. Mrs. Kam added that the main purpose is to teach
children to be kind to pets. Way to go, Mrs Kam! A big Thank You!

2) R.A.V.E.2SAVE
As already mentioned on my earlier blog, this fun and exciting event would also be very interesting especially to the young at hearts and would be adults soon. Thanks again KDU!

So there you are, this weekend is going to be enjoyable and full of fun for everybody.

Pet Adoption

Niamahfulat!
Ok, I received an email about the coming RAVE2SAVE fund raising programme by Kollege Damansara Utama (KDU) in Petaling Jaya on the 25th. July.

My heartiest appreciation to KDU for organising such event to help save and support rescued pets.

Yes, even though it was clearly stated that all proceeds would go to a big ORG in Ampang, a mis-communication took place. They have also invited another pet rescue group to take part which this group fully agreed to bring along 50 rescued puppies and to be given free to good homes.
Free, it would mean getting it free of charge after taking all necessary particulars and promise that the pup would get good care, food and plenty of love.
The big ORG is not giving any pups or rescued dogs free. One must pay for a rescued animal!

Why is that so?

Go to Malaysian Dogs Deserves Better. website to see their reasoning.

Niamahfulat! (again) Do any of us really know the realities of our today's economic situation?

With so much going on, such as the H1N1 flu, forth coming increase of household electricity, increased bus and taxi fares, food prices....etc, many would now be very sensitive about spending.
Mentally, an average family also have to worry about security and the current political on goings which is the main concern of trying to be 'sane' everyday.

I must admit that the last thing on people mind nowadays, is charity and doing good.

I was told off, just two days ago that many are very concerned about their daily survival and this family gave me a good ticking off about saving strays, be it dogs or cats. So where do these poor animals go to? Monetary support from the public are getting scare.

Just why can't this big ORG accepts the 50 rescued pups and work hand-in-hand with other rescue groups who eventually share the same good line of thought? There are also plenty more
where-it-came-from, as estimates of stray animals runs into thousands?

By the way, Dr Chan Kah Yein's Inti College programme came off beautifully because young adults are being taught to love all animals. We need to start them young to solve the problems of strays. Importantly, they should not be told (politically) where not to get/buy rescued pets.
By doing so, it look like the big ORG is already teaching these young adults the fundamental of politics!!!!

This was how the problem of strays happened in the first place!

Really Fulat!

Start Em Young.

Thanks Sister Kah Yein,

Read from Petfinder.my that Dr. Chan Kah Yein, our Dhamma speaker, a true animal lover and a pet rescuer leads the I-SAW (INTI Society for Animal Welfare), INTI College at Subang Jaya. That is great news.
Please do try to get your hands on her book, "Pawprints on my heart" It is about seven little stories about kindness to animals. Also do keep a box of tissue next to you while reading her experiences with her pets and those who were discarded. She will show you how we can make our lives richer and more meaningful as we live together harmoniously as one big family.

Now this is what I call "See the Bigger Picture" and "Think Out of the Box". I sincerely believe that those who read this book, will get to fully understand and love animals even though you do not have a pet.

Educate, that's right, teach the young.

Prayer of Gentleness to All Creatures

To all the humble beasts there be,
To all the birds on land and sea,
Great Spirit, sweet protection give
That free and happy they may live!

And to our hearts the rapture bring
Of love for every living thing;
Make us all one kin, and bless
Our ways with Nature's gentleness!
